My earlier post on J.C. Wylie continues to receive some interest, so for those that would like to learn more about Wylie’s ideas, I’ve scanned and uploaded the 5 pages of handwritten notes that I made while reading his book. The notes are from the 1989 edition of his work, which includes a brief biography of Wylie, a postscript that he wrote for this edition, and a few appendices that include some of the shorter articles that he published.
The notes are meant to accompany the book itself, and without it they may be somewhat confusing. But since the book is relatively rare and the available copies are usually pricey, they are better than nothing for those interested in Wylie’s ideas.
